Our goal is to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for you to get to know Washington D.C. and other travelers. While staying at the hostel, there are plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas on a variety of topics with travelers from around the world.
We are in a prime location where you can walk to the most Washington has to offer, both in sightseeing and nightlife. You can walk to major attractions: the White House, free Smithsonian museums, the Spy Museum and the best museum in the city, the Newseum is 10 minutes away. We are an 8 minute walk to over 50 restaurants, theaters, the Metrorail (Convention Center Station). The Capitol and the Monuments are also within walking distance from the hostel. No other Washington DC hostels are closer than we are.
For Fun: We have movie nights, free suggested walking tours, a community room stocked with board and video games, and books in several languages (incl. Spanish and Chinese) for your enjoyment.
Our rooms are clean and spacious. We have the largest private locker spaces of any hostel in DC to store your valuables. All lockers are in your room where you can sleep comfortably on 7 inch thick mattresses.
During your stay we want you to experience Washington to the fullest and will provide tips on touring DC economically. Additionally, we offer free amenities, discount cards and theater/ museum coupons.
